Strengthen and tone the whole core of your body and improve your overall posture. All routines follow a theme and are designed to compliment your yoga practice. Great for building up strength and stamina where students are not quite ready for the dynamic elements of yoga.

A general introduction to elemental yoga postures and breath work. Expect plenty of repetition and straightforward instruction.

Wednesday 9.30am – Morning Stretch in Longhoughton – level 1/2
A slow hatha flow with rudimentary poses, pilates elements and simple breathing. Expect plenty of straightforward instruction and variations.
For complete beginners or those recovering from injury or just like slow mindful practice.
At the Community and Sports Centre on Westfield Park
Wednesday 6pm – Yoga in Amble – level 2+
A dynamic haha flow with music. This class is for improvers and encompasses many yoga elements. You will be guided through a sequence of standing and seated postures with plenty of sun salutations. Learn how to use your breath to keep going.
This class is most suitable for people who have some yoga experience and requires a reasonable level of fitness. If you are in this class you already know how to go at your own pace.

Saturday 9am – Beach Yoga in Alnmouth – all levels
Meeting every fortnight throughout the summer on Alnmouth beach. Yoga outdoors is a fantastic way to experience being at one with nature. Feel the nourishing effects of moving in rhythm with the waves easing stress, boost energy and being alive.
A general yoga class for everyone. You should be able to get up and down from the floor easily or be content to sit a lot.
One to One
